Privacy Policy

When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, the items ordered, and the network address your browser connected from.

We also record the card brand, last four digits and expiry returned to us after payment. We never receive your full card number or security code — see the Payment Security page.

When you email us: whatever you put in the message, and your email address.

To take payment, to send you the order, to tell you where it is, and to help you if something goes wrong.

Your network address and the address details you provide are also used to verify the payment with your card issuer and to detect fraudulent orders. If a charge is later disputed, this information is what allows us to demonstrate the order was genuine.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone except the parties listed below, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Our payment provider, which needs your name, email, billing address and network address to process the payment and to run fraud checks.

Our shipping carriers, which need your name, shipping address and phone number to deliver the parcel.

Our email provider, which sends order confirmations and shipping notifications on our behalf.

Nobody else, unless we are legally required to disclose it.

Order records are kept for 7 years, which is the period we are required to retain transaction records for tax and accounting purposes.

Email correspondence is kept for 2 years.

If you ask us to delete your information we will do so, except for the order records we are legally required to retain. We will tell you exactly what we have kept and why.

This site sets one cookie, which remembers the contents of your cart between pages. It contains no personal information and expires after 30 days.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that follow you to other sites.

Email privacy@veratishome.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to receive a copy in a portable format. We respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information to anyone, so there is nothing to opt out of — but the request will be honoured and confirmed in writing if you make it.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.
