A waffle-weave bath towel in a linen-cotton blend. It is thinner and lighter than a terry towel, dries far faster, and takes up about half the space on a rail.
It absorbs less per gram than terry. If you want a thick towel, this is not one — the whole point of the weave is that it dries out between uses rather than staying damp.
